weCreate: CC for School Leaders

The weCreate workshop to be held on 23 November 2010 is a chance for Wellington region school leaders and Boards of Trustees to discuss copyright solutions for more innovative sharing, and better reuse of educational resources in New Zealand schools.
This initiative offers information about current intellectual property management practice in New Zealand schools and emerging open education resource policies, and outlines practical steps for implementing open access principles and its associated tools.
This workshop is a collaboration between the Open Education Resource foundation and Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand with support from the Ministry of Education.
Please join us from 9.30am - 11.30am at Science House, the Royal Society of New Zealand, 11 Turnbull Street, Thorndon, Wellington.
