Open Access Week 2010!

Open Access week will be celebrated around the world from the 18th - 24th of October

Creative Commons Aotearoa is getting into the spirit by holding a webinar on Friday 22nd at midday (NZ time) called "Remixing Aotearoa" as part of the Open Education Resource Foundation's OAWeek's webinar series. Our online session will be rounding off a week of open education resource gurus sharing their knowledge and love for all things open. You can sign up for sessions here.

The "Remixing Aotearoa" webinar is a broad discussion about remix for Kiwis. We'll also hear from Fabiana Kubke about how remix can apply to her area of science, and some organisers of upcoming Mix and Mash: The great NZ remix and mashup competition will talk about this huge promotional exercise for remix and reuse of our digital heritage.

Keep an eye on our website - there will be some new profiles and interviews with people utilising CC in New Zealand appearing that week too!
